The Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School is located in a former elementary school building at 400 Cameron Street in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The school has:

• Two Children's House classrooms (ages 4-6)
• Four Elementary I classrooms (ages 6-9)
• One Elementary II classrooms (ages 9-11)
• A gym
• A cafeteria
• A library
• A movement room
• A playground and athletic field
• Administrative offices

Classrooms are fully equipped to provide a total Montessori experience for each child. The classroom and classroom environment are designed with the child, not the adult, in mind. All equipment and furniture fits the age and size of the children in the classroom. All educational materials including wall pictures are set at the height of the children. Materials are arranged on shelves from left to right and from least difficult to most difficult.

The children are responsible for appropriately maintaining the classroom environment in which they work and reside, thus, ensuring that a respectful community is created and maintained.
