Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School students range from four to twelve years of age. They work in multi-age, multi-grade classes of 30 or less students. These groupings encourage both independence and cooperation.
The school provides services to an academically, economically, and behaviorally diverse population. A full spectrum of regular education, at risk, gifted, and special education students attend the school.
The educator/teacher guides the student's learning. Students progress from concrete examples to more abstract concepts. The environment in the classroom is setup to engage the student actively in the learning process.
Art and music are integrated into the curriculum. Many enrichment activities are included in the students' day and in the curriculum.
